Josh Beers - FHCS Founder

 

Family Home Care Services of Missouri’s Founder Josh Beers has a long history with home health care services, dating back to his childhood. Josh grew up with very loving grandparents and learned early on that checking in on and caring for friends and loved ones was important - especially for those that are elderly or disabled. Additionally, Josh’s own father was sick all of Josh’s life. This further fueled his passion for caregiving.

 

In his early twenties, Josh carried out his dream and launched his first home health care agency. The agency flourished and his team of skilled caregivers provided the elderly and disabled affordable care that allowed them to remain in their own homes and live fruitful lives. Josh simultaneously cared for his father while managing his first home health care agency. While caring for his father and managing a thriving home healthcare agency, he continued to pursue his education in financial management.

 

Josh grew older and his career in corporate management also flourished.  His corporate career took center stage, but Josh felt something was missing. Finally, he realized that he missed being part of the home healthcare industry. Fast forward a couple of years and Family Home Care Services of Missouri was founded.

 

When Josh isn’t advocating for the disabled and elderly with Family Home Care Services of Missouri or managing a group of three other companies, he is spending time outdoors or in the Missouri Ozarks with his wife, Sarah Beers, and their children.

 

“We care for each of our clients like they are family,” says Josh. “Our clients are family. And family doesn’t let other family members overpay for in-home health care.”

Sarah Beers - FHCS Co-Founder

 

Sarah Beers, co-founder of Family Home Care Services of Missouri, has a deep passion for nurturing and compassionately caring for others. 

 

These qualities were instilled in her from a young age. As a young adult, she developed her passion for nurturing and caring for others. Sarah grew up living in a multi-generational home. When it became clear her grandmother needed around the clock care, Sarah was thankful for the opportunity to be able to provide the in-home care and support her beloved grandmother needed. This allowed her grandmother to stay in the comfort of her own home and not have to be moved into a facility.  Her grandmother was able to remain happy, comfortable, and maintain her independence this way! Because of this experience Sarah learned that in-home care was a vital part of compassionate, comfortable support for those aging and disabled.

 

Sarah also has deep connections to caring for disabled adults and children. In the past she has worked in a variety of positions that provide support to a wide range of ages and abilities, including an adult daycare center, a Montessori school, a state-funded childcare for disadvantaged children, owning and operating her own in-home daycare, and nannying through a local agency before resigning to care for her grandmother.

 

When Sarah became a mother, these naturally instilled qualities for compassion and care grew. Sarah feels that it is vitally important to provide qualified, compassionate, heart-centered, and caring individuals to provide care to the people that we already love and those that we will grow to love. 

 

Sarah's hobbies include a love of music, fine arts, and especially spending time outdoors! She feels these interests can benefit everyone and applies that belief to her care philosophies. Spending time with Josh, her husband, their children and their large family is what Sarah cherishes in her free time. 

 

Sarah has a natural gentle approach to caregiving and lovingly oversees, manages, assists and cares for others’ physical and emotional needs. Sharing her experience and passion for caregiving is a heart-felt calling she continues to provide through the services of Family Home Care Services.
